The Object Daily Statistics Office
Numbers we disagree with
The Object Daily exists to object to what everyone agrees on. Here we measure how much they actually agree. The real figures are calculated from fourteen outlets' news feeds – every headline, not only the ones we object to – and from our own archive. The Object Daily's own charts at the bottom are satire, based on the editors' estimates from this morning. They are as good as anyone else's facts. Roughly.

The news flow
Every time the editors read the news, the Statistics Office sorts every headline from 14 outlets by subject – not only the ones we object to. This is what it looks like when nobody objects. Latest count: Sunday, 8 November 2026 at 09:42 GMT, 220 headlines.
